I didn’t know if it’s bug or hacking.
I just started playing Diablo III. I have reached level 70. I was trying join a public game.
When I was in-game, there’s 2 players that have 1000+ paragon levels and a necro with 70 paragon levels. We entered the greater rifts. We were at entranced just standing there, suddenly the necro and I got leveled up, we got leveled up about 100+ level.
I am not happy and disgusted for my character , It’s like my character already broken. If I can give suggestion, this game had potential, if you couldn’t handle it, why not just sell it to other company that can have more attention to this game.
Not a bug or a hack. You got powerleveled.
That’s how it is done.
If you want to progress slowly, don’t join a pub game with players so much higher than you.
BTW, 100 Paragon is not that much. Finding good gear is far more critical to advancement.

The amount of XP earned from mob kills and completion of a Greater Rift is proportional to the level of GR you do. If the more powerful players took you into a higher level GR, gaining 100 paragon levels is exactly what would be expected.
Of course, you’re at liberty to not spend the paragon points that you gained and progress at a much more sedate pace by earning your own levels.
Don’t worry too much about 100 paragon. The amount of XP needed to gain a paragon level increases with each paragon level gained. When a brand new season starts, and everyone starts at level 1, rushes to 70 and then starts to do rifts and GRs, players can hit paragon 100 within a few hours.
A quick look at… http://rerollcalculator.com/Paragon …shows that going from Paragon 1 to Paragon 100 takes around 8.578 billion XP. Sounds like a lot until I tell you that my non-seasonal heroes have 4118 Paragon, and getting to 4119 would take 807.934 billion XP.

Lol, it is rare to see people complain about getting PL

Not that rare. From time to time, some newbies got PL to level 70 in public games unintentionally.
Then they cried for help because they are 1-shot by white mobs even in Normal difficulty. They don’t have level 70 gears and no gold and materials to craft any. Basically, they are naked when facing enemies.
