Thank you all for taking the time to report this. We are actively investigating a potential root cause of these errors on launch. We’ve found that many users reporting this error do not meet the System Requirements for Diablo II: Resurrected.
As we continue to investigate, here are some recommendations that may help:
- Make sure Windows 10 is fully updated along with graphic drivers. If you have two graphics processors (onboard and discrete), be sure that both have the most recent driver installed.
Driver Downloads
- Make sure the game is using the primary GPU.
- Try playing with the system in Selective Startup mode. If the game launches with all background programs disabled, check to see if you have any “Nahamic” software installed, and remove it if present. We have found the “Nahamic” voice/sound software as the direct cause in some cases.
If the above measures have no impact, please reply with your system’s “DxDiag” report. Here are the instructions:
- Press Windows Key + R.
- Type DxDiag and press Enter.
- In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
- Name the file “dxdiag” and click Save
- Once you have that made, open the file. You’ll need to copy and paste the contents of the Text document into the post, and put four Tilde (~) marks above the DXDiag. It’ll look like this:
