I just wanted to double check my math. Will the Inna’s update end up making the set do less damage overall?
I am thinking that the math works like (set damage*# of allies) * crudest boots * bindings of the lesser gods
The old set was (950*10)400400 = 1.52 billion %
The new set is (3000*10)200200 = 1.2 billion %
I know that this doesn’t take into account a whole lot of other modifiers, but was just checking the set and ancient modifiers themselves. Do these interact in a different way that lessens the significance of the 400% to 200% drop of the 2 supporting ancients?
For some reason it does seem stronger now. I think most of the reason they lowered the damage values is because of the interaction with rabid or whatever, which they apparently fixed so not really sure what the goal was there. The damage still needs to be 3-4x stronger imo.

usually you have 2+ aps which now doubles your damage with every MA but water ally which already profitet from AS, right?
Also enforcer and pet things should work now. While the numbers seem less, it should do a little better now. Lets see…
RIP WOL
They made it so attack speed worked better with allies and that enforcer now properly works as well. Is it these fixes that are making allies seem to work better?
What I am wondering is if the allies benefit from your current attack speed. How does it affect their active etc? Im sure there’s info somewhere, but I have no clue myself.
Inna 6-piece bonus (old multiplier) = 1 + 950%*10 = 96
Inna 6-piece bonus (new multiplier) = 1 + 3000%*10 = 301
Crudest Boots (old multiplier) = 1 + 400% = 5
Crudest Boots (new multiplier) = 1 + 200% = 3
Bindings of Lesser Gods (old multiplier) = 1 + 400% = 5
Bindings of Lesser Gods (new multiplier) = 1 + 200% = 3
Net change = (301*3*3)/(96*5*5) = 1.12875
This means the change is almost +0.75 GRs from the last PTR patch. Of course, the LoD WoL build was quashed though. Do not forget the +1 in the base multipliers when computing numbers.

Usually increased 200% means 200%+1 a x3 multiplier, so before is 5x5 from bracer and boot now is a 3 x 3, so not much a change. A very weak set remains as weak as before
Plus the Mystic cap bug was fixed so it will definitely under perform compared to previous.
Indeed
“We hope these changes will allow both LoD and Inna’s builds to be viable in a variety of Solo and Group scenarios.”
I think what they really mean is
We hope they finally all play FB wizard in a variety of Solo and Group scenarios.

Thanks! this is exactly what i was missing
The pets are slightly less retarded.
The bug fixes help make up for the math. It’s pretty decent. About the same power as a rend barb, at least for me. Did a 125 with both, they seemed about the same power lvl.
But you rely on AI pet which can be frustrated with some maps and some elites. I would say rend is more consistent and easier to play. But I am not sure which can push better but we will see from the leaderboard soon.
The only drawback is that inna does not benefit from the Eth weapon since shenlong set seems to give more dmg
So far, I was a bit off for max grift with the monk. Wudijo has a 130 with 1551 paragon at 9:12. Meaning he can probably do 2-3 higher at his level. So I think a hard hard push could be 137-140 at paragon 5,000. I think he did a 129/130 with the shen’s set.

Wudi is supernatural tho…
Shimizu fan of knife back in the day and now shimizu TR lol
Actually I would prefer the new ethereals be BIS with innas though, at least for s24. The fact that shenlong is BIS reduces the class appeal to me
can feel you…
It feels all wrong to go with a weapon set in s24… Lets at least hope for another innas buff as its needed i feel.
And even more so driving me off monk rn is the fact that WoL is gone. By gone i mean, its so weak that its nowhere near competitiv and i wont play incompetitiv builds with my buddys all running GoD and Firebirds.
