What bother me the most, blizzcon once announced diablo 4 and diablo 2 remastered, almost together if not anouncing and showing diablo 4 content as first… where is our game? Not enough time to finish it due this hard time we gamers live into ?

Do you think that they can develop an entire new game in the same time that it takes to update the graphics on an old game? Is that what you are saying?

Im saying they need pression, cuz I think its true, that is all… please lets admit we want the game, probably already done deal.

Hopefully a beta in 2022 and a launch in 2023.

Diablo 4 and Diablo 2 Resurrected weren’t announce at the same time.

Diablo 4 was unveiled at BlizzCon 2019.

Diablo 2 Resurrected was revealed during BlizzConline, that was earlier this year.

Maybe you could make a more descriptive title? At least put “[D4]” in it or similar.

See how far that gets you. D4 is years away. You’ll be banned from the forums by then.

  • Diablo Immortal was announced in Nov 2018 at Blizzcon. It finally has a release date of next year.
  • D4 was announced in Nov 2019 at Blizzcon. They said “not even Blizzard soon”. There is NO date on it and they give quarterly updates on progress. Don’t expect it any time soon.
  • D2R was announced in Feb 2021 at Blizzcon - online. It was stated as due out this year (and it was released in Sept).

Spamming the forums is a bad idea. You will get a release date on D4 when everyone else does. No amount of spamming will get a personal reply to you. If you want updates, follow the quarterly releases of the D4 News blogs.

Check my number of posts VS my whole battle.net account, i’m a fan of starcraft original since 1995, its a pretty bad idea to front me but thanks for the quick answer!

Thats how we get updated in where I come from.

Also, if ‘not expecting Diablo 4 soon’ means showing icecream to a kid and throw it on the ground, you’re whole team should be ashamed.

She wasn’t fronting you, she was pointing out facts. The fact that you don’t like the facts is not her problem.

Miss Cheetah is not an employee of Blizzard. She is one of us, with nothing but recognition in the green text for her work as a helpful forum poster. She is not paid, she is not part of Blizzard. She is permitted to say what she thinks, even if its contrary to Blizzard.

But she is very good at putting out facts.

Expose them for what? Not providing updates fast enough for you?

They didn’t throw the ice cream on the ground, they showed it to you, then told you would have it some day. It will be there some day when it is there.

Well, where I am from which is where Blizz is from, if you keep asking “how long until we get there” every 5 minutes, your dad is probably going to turn around and take you home instead.

The game will be ready when the game is ready. All those people crying to release it now need to relax or we will get the same unfinished mess we got with D3. I won’t be playing D4 beta for 10 years. I want the finished product. Let them do their work and when it is done, they will let you know.

If the game takes 1-2 more years than expected to be release, but is released in a great state. There’s almost nothing of which that was lost.

On the other hand, if the game releases 1-2 years earlier than expected, but in a shoddy state because it was rushed; not only would we have massive problems in the game, but much time would be wasted in trying to improve the game rather than providing substantial updates and such.

So yeah, I’m in favor of the developers taking the time they need, so that we can get a great game at launch, that’s plagued by little to no major issues.

OP as you may notice Diablo Players are among the most patient gamers around. We like things built to work not rushed and buggy. So, please be patient we will get it when it is ready. :slight_smile:

On a side note, I vote Blizz give MissCheetah her choice of text color for her years of service to the Forums, especially keeping some of us in line :slight_smile:
