I’ve got 35 keys waitingto be used. Where fo I use them?
Or you could just play the game casually and clear the 30 day Battle Pass in 30 days all for $0 dollars. (Note: the XP comes from the FREE BP)
If you try to rush the game, the mtx will punish you.
If you try to compete in the game the mtx will punish you
If you don’t play casually, the mtx will punish you.
Ibn Fahd if I recall correctly from stream Josh Strife, since I am Dutch Blizz made on purpose a game I am not allowed to play.
The second if you have minor whaled like I did in the past as well, you know that getting an early head start is more or less decisive in the whale race, unless someone really starts to spend like mad.
All those rewards for first clears, first in guild wars, having more time to grind at highest level and so on give you an insane advantage even over other whales, though in this game eternal leg crests may change that balance due to all RNG involved. Sure they can catch up to your paragon, until next season starts if use it over 30 days and with world paragon, but they never catch up to the first clear rewards and first places in guild events. Nor will they likely be using the paragon 30 or even 40 gear until very end, while you happily did events with them.
What I find hilarious is that all the blues have vanished from reddit/discord. And they thought the official forums here were bad and reddit/discord were safer.
So doing the same thing over & over & over again is Good??? So what is the difference between the two on Combat??? In DI you kill almost everything and explore everything. In D3 OH wait you run around just killing Elites!!! Plus don’t do anything else in the game.
OH wait what do you do for the first 4 or 5 hrs in a season in D3!!! Running around? Doing rifts, Bounties and the 4 chapters to get you stuff!!!
On DI you have work or as people say P2W to get you stuff. On D3 at the beginning you basically get everything on a Silver Platter!!!
Plus for the hell of it I got the Battle Pass. What did I get OH wait nothing to help me. To what you people are saying P2W. OK right again I got really nothing to help me!!!
Most games out there you play to win the game. On D3 where is it that you really win the game ??? OH wait you just keep playing it doing the same thing over & over again with no win in site!!!
Very well put! I’d add the limitation of activities and the game penalizing you if you don’t do specific things at specific times, as if it were a job, not a game. Even without P2W, I’d still won’t come back until these are removed.
D3 is privately driving an F1 on a few commonly known tracks. See how fast you can go, you still have to leave the track to fill up on fuel.
DI is driving a Honda Accord on a Highway, lots of exits, expensive tolls, traffic around certain landmarks, you want to peel out, but the speed limit is 70mph.
WOW really no clue!!! DI you going back to the roots of Diablo. Not just run around mindlessly getting things given to on a Sliver Platter. I don’t see D3 as a ARPG any more. D3 is nothing now but a contest to be the Leader-board King!!!
You know what car maker won the Indy 500 OH Wait “Honda” WOW!!! Plus Indy cars go faster then F1 cars.
Buddy I played the original D1 and D2 as a teenager. I don’t interpret DI as returning to the roots of Diablo, does anyone else feel this way? DI has its own very distinct traits.
Alright there sizzle chest. Irony denied. The point is D3’s controls are snappy and Greater Rifts play like a sport, whereas DI’s controls are clumsy.
DI doesn’t have a practical loot hunt. 8 legendary weapons to choose from… capped loot. Its legendary items don’t offer synergy. Awakened effects are lackluster for the effort. Progress for most is driven by BattlePass. The world is okay from 1-70, but you really have to love all activities in the game to actually value journey to greatness. Within 1 week, I had to stop.
I’m all for earning loot and power by playing the game for thousands of hours, but DI isn’t doing it right. The first taste was a bad bite.
And btw, this whole thread is an opinion starting from the OP, don’t be so rude and call people clueless if you choose to reply.
I agree with this. D3 isn’t perfect. My friends and I bring up the potential of D3, it just needed a stat squish, more build options, skill rune rebalance, elimination of zdps, elimination of shared paragon, new legendary items, rare loot tiers beyond primal, reworked paragon, dps followers or maybe even pulling in your other characters as followers, other end game activities (hardcore style dungeon crawling, more aggressive elites).
D4 is coming soon, I hope to get a chance to play the beta.
I tend to agree with your feedback on other posts. Most of the things I put out there easy little improvements for this d3 dev team to feasibly implement, band-aids if you will.
You know – most of us, even this rude Davey guy (lol) – want D4 to play a superior next-gen Diablo game.
I got high expectations for D4 – and the devs are saying the right things in their recent reveal videos. Something tells me we’re going to be satisfied when we see the beta.
I couldn’t believe this when I encountered it for the first time. I assumed I was doing something wrong like being in the wrong zone or something because come on how is this how it works. Running around the same area for a few minutes because bunch of other people are doing the same one at the same time is just bad design…
I agree with most part of you said. It is, clearly, a copy from D3 with a renew in the end-game content.
Almost everything has fix, like just get the loots better, it’s bad when you spend a whole day at T2 to drop a simple green gloves and get nothing except for blues, whites and some gold… Doind Namari for 10 - 20 times and don’t get a single green from boss… Is it made to be more likely with D3 or D2? Also, why we should get “runes” from crests in elders rift if it’s totally useless… I totally think we’ll have runewords when are leveling… sad mistake! The game forces you to play with 8-man groups, but don’t give any pvp mechanics that the 8-man party can join and play together! But all of this has fix… but not the payware mechanics… It will break de game soon! When the end-game content is getting closer, the advantage will become ever and ever bigger and the F2P people will start to leave the game!
Sadly, it’s not a think of mine! It’s true, just see, there’s a lot of game that gone complete to nothing because this mechanic! I know, all the cellphones games has this type of mechanic, but I was believing, not Blizzard, not in Diablo franchise! Well… I’m very disappointed again.
Thank you Blizzard! Hope Microsoft start controlling soon!
