This just makes me glad I never had drinking as a vice. Even now in my 40’s I’m only interested in maybe one drink every couple months, if that.

Sometimes humor can come from truth (well, most comedy is based on some degree of reality, otherwise people can’t relate from it).
I couldn’t care less about forum drama (although I do like to throw firewood in the fire when I see it), so, in case OP actually managed to quit an addiction, he has my congrats

Apparently, quitting is the theme of the 2020s, so you should be OK.
I, personally, was going to quit being mad, but then I realized I would just Alex, and that make me angry, which made me feel better.

You know I never quit drinking. I just stopped buying alcohol. It wasn’t a decision. It’s the same thing that happens with most games. When people quit games publicly I often wonder who they’re trying to convince.
Nothing says that you have to post and I quit thread. I have left many games without a single word if it was due to the fact that I no longer wanted to play the game. Or if it was because of a problem with the company that designs or publishes it. Now if I ever had to quit a game due to circumstances in life that has drastically changed then I might let everyone know that it is due to that. That way I am telling them it is not due to anything being wrong with the game or with the game company publishing or developing it.
such terrible opinions. you know, it was the dev’s who ask players to give them the reasons for quitting their game. they want this data, so they can understand what mistakes they’ve made. WHO ARE YOU TO BUTT IN AND COMPLAIN ABOUT IT? you literally click the thread and read it all and then complain after choosing to participate, and you think they are in the wrong? despicable behavior toward people trying to help the dev’s, literally asked by the dev’s.
Why even post at all? seems hypocritical to tell people to quit posting about quitting. it’s okay for you to do it, but not them? Either way it’s a mute point. Blizzard has the last say, and they literally say pic related:

Your voice has said you’ll quit World of Warcraft.
Your voice has said you will not buy Diablo IV.
Your voice has said you will never buy a Blizzard produced ever again.
Your voice doesn’t matter because, whilst you’ve said these things, some of them repeatedly, not once have you actually meant them. Your voice is worthless, because what you say, and what you do, are completely disassociated.

Hey kameirus, would you consider coming back if I ask you politely? Something like: Please come back! We’ll miss you!. Or would you rather drag this out like another poster we know until we get a couple of hundred replies and a dozen or so more threads?
