Game won’t let me create a game, it’s telling me i don’t have room and I need to delete a character…and when I do that, it tries to make a new character for me, and it’s saying I can’t play hardcore on a “starter” level…WTF is happening?

I just posted a bug in the bug section of the forums, it says, i have a starter edition license and i need to delete a hero and make a new hero to play.
I’ve owned Reaper of Souls edition for years now

Well, I’m happy to see it’s just not me. Was worried I screwed up something, somehow.
I’ve had the game since 2014, and I play every day.
