I do and have done it many times! No one finds it insulting, they just laugh, because it’s not an insulting word. We are what everyone calls, ADULTS
YOU may not find it insulting. Your friends, knowing the context you are using it in, may not find it insulting, but many people do take issue with it. Yes, adults. People don’t like to be called stupid/moron/imbecile/idot/R-word/etc. The Blizzard games are not just for adults though. The rules for player interactions are the same across all the games and forums. They are decidedly family friendly.
I think I already linked the forum code of conduct for you. Read through it again. What is fine with your friends is not fine with strangers. They don’t share the same knowledge of your intent nor share your humor.
A lesson? More like a joke! They have bots running around and do nothing about it. They would kick the bots because there are so many they wouldn’t kill activision’s bottom line in the stock market.
the most comical thing is there is no reporting method for botting. Well, I guess bots don’t say “moron”.
This “bug report” thread needs to be locked.
because they don’t want to fix it, or they can’t, no one in the company is able to cope with the mistake! return your money and look for a better company! mistake for more than a year and blizzard recognized it, but they will not correct it!
and how is insults to the face in a friend’s house related to players who have never seen each other? we do not shout insults to all relatives in the chat, we express our opinion, and the punishment here does not get in the nose. and immediately with an ax on the head with burning to ashes, in the nose it’s just a chat ban. and you deprive us of the whole game!
The point is that if it’s something you wouldn’t do to someone you know in real life, why do you think it’s okay to do to someone you don’t know over the internet.
