If personal Loot was confirmed

That would kill economy of items in D2, no thank you. You would have to change drop rates also, thats not good at all.

Just no, horrible idea for Diablo 2.

When most people talk aboit ploot, they dont want to change amount of items dropped. If bot is running chaos sanctuary there is several elites +diablo, elite give same number of items 1,no matter the number of players, diablo is affected by it but only by like 1-3 items. So bot would be basicly losing items by running public game. Not just bot, anyone who is capable of doing runs like that.

But it wont give you freedom toto have chance to pick up what dropping. Only the very limited number of items which were decided to be your.

Please quote verbatim. Thanks.

100% agree with above post.

You agree with this post lol.

Wrong. You have absolutely no idea what your talking about but you assert a claim like you KNOW what would happen.

Wrong. You have no idea how a change in the looting system would be implemented so why the constant napkin math.

You mean it wont give you the freedom Grab it all right. At last your real motivations are revealed.

Its you who is wrong, i know exactly what i am talking about. If every player will get own instanced loot like in d3 it will seriously impact trading, you will not need to trade that much and there would be many more items on market. Items would be losing value extremely fast.

Did you not read what i wrote? It seems to me that xou have no clue how drop and MF running works in D2 at all.

LMAO what motivation, you talk like its bad to pick up items and i should feel bad for it. Wake up, you want ploot for same reason, you motivation is to pick up items also.

Your comments are actualy hilarious.

You don’t know how any change to loot would be implemented at all.

YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT

If it was in the game you could figure out what the drop rates etc where

smh

All this obsession with personal loot. I played with my 2 pc (so sort of solo). Never one multiplayer game with real people the whole beta so far.

I got 162% mf now on my sorc. over 15 uniques, multiple set items, all low runewords stealth, leaf, nadir, steel and malice… and thoser Multiple times… and you know what? Haven’t even played it very hard at all.

Game knowledge will get you a LOT further then any dumb garbage personal loot setting. Just learn the game… sites are out there for 20 years

Go learn and don’t ask for dumb lazy solutions like personal loot… D3 has it… and that imo is turned into a very dumb and lazy game

Cheers

D2 is an easy game… It’s never been hard well maybe way back in 1.08

You don’t understand the debate because you cant be bothered to read the posts. At the time of this posting you have 1 hour reading time on the forum.

You don’t know what your talking about.

Go and read the thousands of posts full of peoples ideas and opinions if you want to understand. Unless your too “dumb” or “lazy”

cheers.

Will quote you on that Septemper 24 when people are starting to reach hell :joy:

good god i hope not xD
most of us (people that are advocating for personal loot) want simply a loot allocation system.
not that humongus drop rate that made diablo 3 what it is today (along with the soul bound )

people allocation = distribution.
nothing , NOTHING to do with drop rates.
they are good as it is now , they were even increased a lot already in 1.13c

I think most debates / discussions here turned into a warzone where people tried to convince others that one system is better than the other. That’s purely a personal opinion and both sides have them and stated their reason as to why. I have my doubts that either side will convince the other and in the end it is up to the dev team to decide. We are bashing our heads together because there is a disagreement. Some in a more toxic way than the other but it doesn’t get anywhere in the end. There will be no winner or loser here.
When will D2:R die off? Nobody knows if it ever will.
It is purely up to Blizzard now if they will add new things to the remastered version or not and for how long they will do it for. We can voice our opinions here and on several other social media sites but Blizzard has to decide for themselves what they want to do with it and what their long term plan / goal is.

The only difference is one side is willing to compromise by advocating for a toggable option the other is just gatekeeping.

indeed , i often say that in the end the devs has the last say anyway , all we can do is give our opinion through feedback.
i don’t understand the need for toxicity / insults etc…

though personally i think that as i have said multiple time , those “warzone” were mostly created because of the misinformation that loot allocation = higher droprate.
many think it would increase the overall drop rates when really it wouldn’t or that it would be forced upon them when in reality it would be a game creation check box.

(unlike charm inventory which would be “forced” upon everyone much like shared stash if it were to happen, and for that i do understand the “warzones”)

That being said in the end it is indeed the devs decisions (for that and for everything else)
one opinion = one opinion , there’s no opinion that weight more than another’s. (except the devs of course)

That may be a difference but the goal with that is to get the other side to agree. No side is better or worse than the other.

Can you see that happening?

This game was developed in the 1990’s and some of us played it when it came out and never enjoyed the loot system, we agreed with the original D2 developer when they stated that they wished the personal loot system was invented so he could of used it for D2 and all we are asking for is a toggle, not a big issue, an optional toggle doesn’t even affect players that choose to use the FFA loot system.

are you asking me?
What is the “that”?

Sure they are. Look at this forum.
XD…

I played D3 for a month at launch then quit. I hated it. I enjoy almost every aspect of D2 except the multiplayer.

D3 at launch wasn’t so bad though.
the drop rate was low , the game was actually hard.

but like 2 months later , they increased the drop rate like crazy , made is crazy easy and in the end even made every item soul bound while increasing drop rate again.
those 2 months+++ were what killed diablo 3 in my opinion.
but day one , i think it was ok.
(aside from the no skill tree thing)
