If Altar exists in Season mode instead of non season mode, there will be many players complaining and unhappy. If the altar exists in all modes, then everyone will be happy.
Devs has nerfed some gameplay that some players like, which can be understood. But if the altar only exists for the Season, it will cause great controversy because the Season already has a strong theme:Soul Shards, Ethereal,4th slot,etc.Makes the season already highly attractive, so the altar should exist in all modes,as Blizzard promised on Twitter.

I’ve only been hanging in because I thought the altar quality or life and power boosts would be available everywhere. Aside from that Diablo 3 is pretty much played out. All grind, no gain.
