I was seeing which one do i go with to rebith again, But i did just Rebirth and i lost everything for my character and i don’t on planning on making a new one and start fresh… What should i do now? Anything i can do.?
This is for you:
Rebirth is the process by which a non-Seasonal character can be turned into a Seasonal one in Diablo III. They are reset to level 1 with no gear or other progression, just like any other new Seasonal character. This allows a pre-existing character to join the Season, and allows a player who already has the maximum number of characters to participate without deleting and recreating any characters.
Even if its rebirth solo? Both of my characters lost everything.
Even in SSF, yes. And in the same article:
All items equipped or in inventory are mailed to the non-Seasonal side of the account. The player has 30 days to retrieve them before they are lost.
OH i see, because i don’t have a non seasonal character.
Yup all of your stuff will still be there in non-season… (: It’s good, not gone!
But.
If you don’t have a non-season hero to collect the mail there, I think you can still lose those items after 30 days.
You may want to keep a character active in non-season, just to be there for things like this. If you don’t have one, just create one to collect the mail there.
Future tip, be sure to remove all the gear from the hero before you rebirth them.
Yeah, I made a new seasonal character i don’t get my paragon points, Unless its non- seasonal character.
Think of it like a One-Way mirror.
On ONE side, you have Season, on the OTHER side, Non-season.
ANYTHING that you do in SEASON, once the Season ENDS… will pass, ONE WAY, into Non-season.
ANYTHING that you do in NON-SEASON, will NEVER affect Season. EVER.
So, when you Rebirthed a NON-SEASON into a SEASON… it took ALL the progress/levels/gear/resources/etc. and KEPT it from going into SEASON. Because it goes ONE way, Season → Non-season. NEVER the reverse.
Basically, Rebirthing is ONLY useful in the following TWO scenarios:
- You’re at the maximum amount of character slots and want to convert ONE of them into a SEASONAL without having to “delete” anyone.
- You care about your Non-seasonal character’s name/play time and want to keep THAT SPECIFIC one in Season.
Oh i see, Well flubbercakes that makes sense. Thanks for the info.
Unless they screw up and bomb the end of the season and restart it to “fix” it. Then things magically appear in Season that you didn’t have before. lol
Hopefully that never happens again.
Yes, they screwed up, and yes, I’m still very mad at them for it on principle. At the same time, one does not rule by exception. When it comes to the topic of “Rebirths, how do they work?” the answer is as I described it.
On the article, that they had i really didn’t recall on seaonal characters being non-seasonal.
I was just concern when i happen to login and notice my character being a non-seaonal character, I came back to theform on bringing back the seasonal characters on 31 on Janurary. But i thought i made a non-seasonal character into a seaonal it would bring my paragon points back.
Unless blizzard made it where it doesn’t resored it.
I don’t know whether the description changed, but it’s relatively simple.
When you start playing D3, you probably create regular (non-seasonal) characters.
When you want to play seasonal, you can create new ones or rebirth existing ones.
When a season ends, seasonal characters become regular ones.
Regular characters access your long term progression state (paragon, bank, cube) while the point of seasonal play is to reset these so that you can re-experience the whole discovery thing or even play without them, if you stick to story mode. (Not entirely Classic since legendary powers have been massively buffed, followers have way more gear, and if you compare to 1.x Classic, drop rates are much higher.)
Seasonal progress is merged with regular progress and the new season starts fresh. You could say it is wiped.
For people with relatively little time, seasonal play is not sustainable. Unfortunately some features are only available there. My previous season was pretty much playing Act1-5 on Expert and that’s it. Was fun, but missed the replay on the next difficulty (some low torment).
