The currently META builds are very strong. But I am bored of them. I really miss playing the old monk builds ( and not only for monks ). Thing is I go WOL GR 110+ and then try Inna pet 85… or Inna tempest rush… Uliana is a bit better but still. These builds are not efficient for anything…
How about we rotate the top builds every patch? Look at this patch for example:
the top builds became insanely powerful and the old ones got even lower
You can’t expect to play the same build 2 seasons in a row… and be excited
Inna WoL is strong already. Tempest Rush and alike channel builds won’t grow in power so player won’t just spam M2 to faceroll the entire content. The effort required to play a spec is the key point here.
As for adding more supporting legendaries that would only separate LoN/D type builds from the traditional Sets and wreck up balance.
Raekor’s wall charge is the only thing that pushes Barbarian 3-5 GRs higher and Vyr’s-Chantodo is one of the best Wiz build right now. Either you’re trolling or have been sleeping under a rock.
I was saying the top is dominated by VYR chatodo, raekor and WOL. What exactly can’t you understand of this??!?!?!?! I would like to bring back old builds for more variety. If you would look on icy-veins’s website and maybe play more diablo you would see that the builds I mention are low GR ones.
Yes it was a vague formulation unfortunately. Like I said I would like to see old legendaries like ( Cesar’s Memento ) updated so old builds be revived
You have guaranteed crits on Balance daibo, Flying Dragon can double your tickrates, Cesar’s only ask you of a simple CC. Laws of Seph or at a discount Kekegi’s can take care of your spirit costs. If despite all these, you think Monk still needs some care then it should be through combining it with another spec as pure channel specs are bound to have low damage.
If you want Tempest Rush to be revitalized I suggest you to experiment on LoN and be sure you have a weapon damage proc legendary to be any effective. That would push that simple build a bit by offering a small damage burst every now and then.
After that remove damage proc stuff and try to combine this spec with other mediocre damage burst specs for Monks; if doesn’t work and can not perform well, give feedback in these boards again.
Guys it’s not normal to have 15 - 20 GRs below top builds. Maybe 5 below but 15-20 is stupid. Remember the end game goal is to level up paragon and so I can’t use efficiently these undewhelming builds. Really hope blizzard does something about it
I hav played a tr build every time play seasons for the last 4 seasons… TR is the lowest teir build. I love TR and have tried every variant i can think of, but the fact is a wol lod build with only 3 aincents, just smashes a full aincents TR build. Only cold TR do some dmg, but that mechnic is boring.
TR is weak, have low defance & and spirit cost is just broken.
