And literally an hour later, they release the hero for free??? I just bought Diablo 3 today as well. I was wondering if it was possible to refund the necromancer DLC? I feel ripped off, as I only purchased the DLC to play that specific character as my first Diablo character.
For free? I’m still seeing the necro having the price tag in the Blizzard shop.
Pretty sure they were just WAITING for one more guy to spend some money on it so they could make it free. The rest of the D3 world thanks you for your service.

I’ve never heard of them giving free expansion packs. Do you have a source for this info or are you confused as to what’s going on? If it appeared in your game all of a sudden it’s because that’s how it works when you buy it.
Oh sorry I I mean they released the necromancer hero today for free. I just purchased Diablo 3 and the necromancer DLC just for the necromancer character, then in the update which happened about an hour ago, my friends (Who don’t have the DLC pack) said when they opened the game after updating, the necromancer was avaliable to them :((
Might be a bug or just trying to entice them to play. Have they actually made the new necro character that was free to them or do they just see it?
If they purchased the Eternal Collection, the necromance is included. It is not free it is part of the sale. If you purchased RoS AND the necromance DLC they are two separate transactions.

Yeah the bundle comes with the Necro and is a good price overall.
Oh they do. Vanilla WoW and EVERY expansion pack are free now - except the latest which is Shadowlands that releases this month. To access all those expansions all people need is the monthly game time - which you can get with gold now.
Sure, you still have to buy the NEW content, but there is so much stuff for a basic sub. Vanilla + 7 expansions for no game cost. Oh, and Classic just requires a sub, no game cost.

This weeks Challenge rift is based on a Necro build. AFAIK you can play Necro challenge rift even if you don’t own the DLC.
