I finished the game, it seems to have reset itself

finished the game, when the credits were scrolling I pressed ESC to not watch them as I already have. Now im level 52 and the game has reset all my missions. Im on the first game mission, like Ive never leveled this character.

I see you have finished the Campaign and are now level 70. Great!

You have two options now. Stay in Campaign and go into the menu and select any act and quest you want to repeat.

You can, in fact, repeat the Campaign for extra rewards with each end boss but I think that is limited by level or something? To do that you have to hit the Reset Campaign button.

Most people move on to Adventure Mode which has Bounties, Rifts (double the chance for Legendary items), etc.

Yeah, there is a LOT more to do in Adventure mode:

  • Normal Rifts. (drops keys for Greater Rifts and other items)
  • Greater Rifts. (drops or upgrades legendary gems and other items)
  • Kadala. (place to spend shards from rifts and bounties)
  • Challenge Rifts. (actually this is an option like Campaign and Adventure mode)
  • Bounties. (earn act specific legendary items, special crafting materials, and other items)
  • Keywardens and Uber Bosses. (the path to creating hellfire amulets and rings)
  • Kanai’s Cube. (and its many recipes)
  • Goblin Realm. (cubing a puzzle ring)
  • Not-A-Cow-Level. (cubing a Bovine Bardiche)
  • Whimsydale (random chance of killing random goblin spawns this level)
  • Legendary Gems. (provides powers and can be used to Augment gear)
  • Augments. (used to add a single stat to Ancient or Primal gear pieces)
  • Primal items. (rare drops with random stats at their highest or best roll)
  • Higher levels. (increases experience gain, gold find, magic item drops)
  • Set Dungeons. (must have full 6 set powers and only the first 4 sets from each class has one)
  • Echoing Nightmares. (cubing an echoing scream)
  • And if doing Seasons, you get extra incentives to do more things there only during the Season.

Good luck.

This is a metaphoric euphemism about this game if I’ve ever seen one. Don’t BS this poor guy and other new players. The “end game” of D3 is very lackluster:

Greater Rifts ad naseum

That’s it. Everything else listed is just a way to get more gear to do the same GR but one difficulty higher than before.

Hey, I was listing all the things that were available after completing the campaign. I never hinted or spoke about what type of replay ability there was in them.

So its not BS, it was a comprehensive list. Just because you have already gotten past it, doesn’t mean they have. lol

As a casual player. I wish they’d de-emphasis the need to do greater rifts…

Probably be nice if they add a type of serial bounty where you have to do 3 specific bounties in a row but within context of a mini story

Or a rift that grants positive or negative affects on the run

Even a group raid of ever more powerful challenges requiring 8x players.

Week+ long faction fights would be interesting.

It’d be hilarious if Blizzard could find a way to superman bear hug all the money out of people that like to compete. But. That would never happen (at least. Not for a Desktop game).
