I do not understand how to add a specific legendary power back to a ring using Cube

I would like to add Circle of Naluji’s Evol (a power I have extracted and ready to go) back to a ring. I cannot figure out what I’m supposed to do?

Once you have extracted the power from an item that item is destroyed and you can now select that power in the relevant slot in kanai’s cube (in your example the jewelry slot).
You cannot revert this process.

Thank you. I see the power, and I select it, and I add a ring and hit transmute and it fails? What am I missing? Are there other ingredients needed?

You can’t put an extracted power back onto a ring. You’ll have to find the ring again if you want to wear it.

So…how is this power useful? Do I automatically have this power since it is in the jewelry slot now, without having to equip it onto a ring?

Pretend I’m five cause I totally don’t understand what I’m supposed to do to get this power back? It seems like I just destroyed a ring for now reason

You seem to be a bit confused. Extracting a power from an item allows you to then select that power to be added to your character.
Using your example, once you have extracted circle of naluji’s evol you can then click the jewelry slot in the cube and highlight circle of naluji’s evol. This will place the items picture in the jewelry slot and grant your character that legendary ability (you raise an additional skeletal mage with each cast and they last an additional 4 seconds). This is permanent as long as you have the circle selected as your jewelry power.
That is how extracting works.
There is no way to take an extracted power and put it on another item (though that is a cool idea).

Yes this is how it works.
It enables you to have an extra legendary weapon, armor and jewelry power active without wearing the associated piece of gear.

You are equipping the power of that ring in the Cube if it is in the bottom right box.

It isn’t for applying that power to other items.

You have the CHANCE to get another of those rings by using the upgrade Rare item recipe, but it randomly selects from ALL of the rings in the game as to the result.

Perfect! Thank you. I was quite confused!
