I can't launch D3 on my Mac

After years of playing Diablo 3 on his Mac, the app won’t launch. I have run the Scan and Repair utility, rebooted, run it again, and it still will not work. I have checked the permissions in the Finder - as one of the other posts suggested - and it still does not work. All of the permissions are fine.

Same here and did the same things try to repair it but nothing happened!!!
Did Blizzard announce a patch for that?
Please repair it!!!

I also cannot run the patch/update. Currently have Version 2.8.0.99920 but when I try to run the update for the new patch I get the BLZBNTAGT00001389 error "Whoops! Looks like something broke. You could try restarting Battle.net.

Restarting doesn’t work. Won’t run a scan for corrupted files (same error). There aren’t any permissions causing a block.

Running on a M4 MacBook Pro, ethernet connection.

edit: FWIW I was able to play through at least last night (3/26/25) without being prompted for an update, so my problems started today, 27 March.
