It is impossible to master ANY of the monk set dungeons.
They are very badly designed.
Uliana’s: There is no way to simultaneously explode 15 enemies with exploding palm… 4 F’ING TIMES YOU IDIOTS! The fire damage can be negated by that one amulet though.
Inna’s: The density of monsters isn’t able to even achieve the primary objective once. You also just kill enemies too fast with mystic allies.
Sunwuko’s: 5 times to get 20 items with your decoys is near-impossible, and for the love of god please make it a smaller dungeon.
Thousand Storms: I have no words other than.
F YOU
Why?
How do you not get hit by a succubus?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!
Actually 2 of monks set dungenons are laughable easy. Keep training until you get better and complete this.
Second way is to level second char that have even easier set dungenons.
For a monk, the easiest one is Sunwuko.
Just use the Kyoshiro belt and walk into a bunch of monsters. There are plenty of opportunities to hit 20 with your clones. Once you see the 20 monsters hit splash pop. Kill off any stragglers.
There are certain builds that make this easier too.
Google Icy Veins Monk set dungeon build.
As for the other monk set dungeons. Yes they can be painful.
Highly recommend Necro if that’s what you choose to do, OP.
All the set dungeons for that class are close to impossible to fail accidentally.
I haven’t even tried Pestilence or Trag’Oul dungeons yet but at least Inarius is very easy. Inarius however does have the same issue many other dungeons have, it’s susceptible for being too powerful and thus can be easily failed. You might kill enemies so fast that you’re unable to rip them with Bone Armor.
So they’re not close to impossible to fail accidentally.
I remember I mastered Uliana set dungeon when it was still explode 21 enemies and the time limit was around 2 minutes plus. The way I did it before was group them using cyclone strike and then 7 sided strike. I have to gimp my character and unlearn all paragons so that the mobs don’t die easily with cyclone strike.
But still Uliana’s is the most difficult set dungeon for monk, the others are easy.
i hate set dungeons too, but sunwuko one is really easy, just followed gear tutorial on icy veins, and i mastered it in just 2 runs
Man… Go get your wings!! You are going to laugh at how easy they are. If anything, maybe remove some paragon… just in case.
Perhaps, Bone Armour’s range seems to be greater than the Bonestorms (not sure here, tbh)… or something. I don’t remember having this issue. Then again, I did it a while ago, probably before the last buff the set got.
I barely play Necro at all, and aced these first try with no pre-research etc… like I had to for a lot of other ones.
I might have exaggerated on just how easy they are, but they are still ALL easy as heck.
Imho, the 4 Necro dungeons would all be in the top 10 easiest set dungeons of the game.
Level a Wizard and do the Tal Rasha dungeon, easy as hell.
- clear the area while full Tal stacks are active (4 different element skills stack for 8 seconds)
- don’t get bit by Rockworms
It’s a small/average sized dungeon (Halls of Agony corridors), just go in there and blast everything into oblivion. The Rockworms are also marked on the minimap so they’re easy to avoid, just keep teleporting.

You’ll need:
- (cube or equip) “Aether Walker” wand that removes Teleport cooldown
- "Nilfur’s Boast" boots to skyrocket Meteor damage
- (cube or equip) “Deathwish” 1h sword for global damage boost of ~300% via channelling skill
- "Etched Sigil" source to cast free Meteors during channelling
- "Halo of Karini" ring for that massive damage reduction.
OR replace Deathwish for “Grand Vizier” staff in cube, that halves Meteor resource cost & boosts its damage even more.
Get someone to powerlevel & gear-boost you, you’ll get it done in no time. And you don’t need to power yourself down in order to keep beasts alive long enough to meet the dungeon requirements.
The more damage you do, the faster you finish. Simple.
thats exactly what i did, recomend barb and IK dungeon is joke easy
Create a Necromancer for season get all Bones of Rathma set pieces and the Jesseth Arms set (Scythe and Shield).
Follow this guide:
Profit
DH Marauder dungeon is ridiculously easy to do, also. Kill 150 while 3 sentries are active and don’t let any enemies in melee range.
I tend to disagree…

just get powerleveled on a barbarian, get the immortal king set dungeon and enter > clear it instantly.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz thought people would know this in 2019.
Sunwuko Wave of Light Monk is very easy. Just walk into large groups of mobs and let the decoy hit as many as possible. You need to make sure your sweeping wind stays active, keep your finger on that bottom. Remember to kill all the stranglers. I did it the first run in S18.
The easiest and fun set dungeons for me are:
- Sader Invoker
- WD Arachyr
- Wiz Vyr
- Barb Immortal King
If you have any trouble with completeing any of the above, google D3 Quinn Set Dungeons with your build listed.
Quinn’s videos are spot on.
Failing set dungeons and blaming the dungeons is like failing a word jumble and claiming it has no solutions.
Set dungeons are like those wooden and metal desk puzzles. “Impossible” until you figure them out and then trivial once you do. I’ve been stumped a few times but I’ve never assumed I was being trolled.
This is entirely a PLBKAC situation. Read a guide if you are having so much trouble. They really aren’t that hard. They are designed with the, ahem, skill level of the common player in mind.
They’re also old and don’t reflect the up-to-date requirements for some of the dungeons. These days I tend to suggest this guy’s guides…
The Inna set dungeon is easy mode if you seriously nerf your DPS.
I have the green wings… so I’d disagree that they are impossible, but I do remember Uliana being a pretty difficult dungeon. ALL of it was hard.
Inna and SWK were easy and uneventful. I’d do one of those if I just wanted to complete the journey.
Dash dungeon wasn’t hard per say, but it does have a REALLY tight time frame; just keep trying till you memorize the map and you get easy mob locations.
