The event will start automatically when the portal opens. It’ll happen 4 PM today.

Reading the blog post would’ve given the answer already.

As the OP has an EU Battlenet ID and assuming they’re in CET, the portal to the dungeon event won’t be available until 01:00 CET, January 4th. This was discussed in the pinned announcement thread, five days ago…

I’m on Xbox series X and there is no portal as of January 7. Any help would be appreciated. I’ve collected cultist pages 1-7 of that helps.

Are you playing offline, with the date / time on your Xbox set incorrectly?

Date and time are correct. Network is good and I seem to be online (can join games, etc.).

So I guess I misunderstood. I can only play the event by joining another game? I can’t create a game open to the public? If I join another game the event works.

Are you set to Campaign Mode?

If so, you won’t get the Event as you need to be in Adventure Mode.

When you join another’s game, they are very likely in Adventure Mode so things like Rifts and Bounties can be done.

Keep in mind that to make Wirt’s leg you are gonna have to pay a million gold. So if you don’t have the cash in hand ( like me) then you are probably gonna have to grind for it for a while
