There’re no old pieces in the current game now.
I’ve collected all piece of Zunimassa’s haunt, but still can’t get this achievement.
How to get “Achievement - Sets appeal” in the current game?
I have collected all updated pieces, but still can’t own this achievement.
The problem is, I can’t get the old legacy pieces that level acquirement is 60 only.
The description of this achievement required old sets of armor, which can’t be collected in a level 70 character.
It should still be possible to get them, if they are in the game. I got this Achievement back in 2013, but if it is still in your list of achievements, then it should still be obtainable.
However, you will need the help of another person.
You will need to powerlevel another person to exactly level 60, and have them make a new game with them as leader. Then they can leave. This works in reverse as well, they can powerlevel you, then you can swap heroes, and it works the same.
This will pause the game level at 60, and killing mobs will not raise the game level since it is tied to the other Heroe’s level, and they are no longer in the game. You can then farm rifts for gear on a class that has one of the level 60 sets, and if the sets are still in the game, they should drop for you. This is also a method to obtain the older legacy hellfire body parts to craft the legacy Hellfire ring.
If you need to reset the game for any reason, it will revert to a level 70 game, so you might ask your friend to save the level 60 hero they created until you have the set.
They can also leave game and return as a level 70 hero and help you farm, and the game will still remain at level 60. Let me know if you need help with this, and I can set it up for you.
Hi:
I think it should still be possible to get that achievement with a current (level 70) set… the last time I got it was for the Immortal King in 2018 – some 4 years after buying RoS – on Asia:
There may be a few complications with the Zunimassa’s set… in the old days, the set only had 5 pieces: Marrow (Chest), Pox (Ring), String of Skulls (off-hand), Trail (boots) and Vision (helm).
Your WD hero is wearing all those, except the ring… You could try swapping the Ring of Royal Grandeur for the Zunimassa’s Pox and check whether that procs the achievement… and it would be nice to see your Zunimassa’s Pox (and Finger Wraps) in your web profile in any event. (you may have to kill a few monsters for your web profile to update).
The only other thing I can think of is to use your barb and collect all the pieces of the Immortal King set… or, at the very least, those 6 pieces: Boulder Breaker, Eternal Reign, Irons, Stride, Tribal Binding, and Triumph.
I checked my achievements in the other two regions… and the Immortal King set is the one that got me the achievement. Your barb is already wielding the weapon (Boulder Breaker)… and perhaps you already have some of the other pieces for that set in your chest.
My 2 ¢
Best of luck in your games.
Boubou,
In my game, the only set that is checked off is the Wizard set, which is why I did not think that the level 70 Immortal King set would count toward this achievement.
However, I have completed all of the set dungoens, so if collecting the level 70 IK set counted toward the achievement, I would think it would be checked off on the Sets Appeal achievement as well.
On the other hand, it might be that as soon as one set gets checked off, it stops counting, and even if you complete more sets, they won’t get checked off since you have already gotten the achievement.
Edit:
I logged into the other regions on my other accounts, and they all have the achievements on all regions, but with Natalya’s set.
Since I have never hunted achievements on those accounts, it seems clear that IK and Natalya’s still count toward the achievement.
Hello VitaKaninen:
Yes… that is what I think. I also have several of those “Sets Appeal” sets – Inna and Zunimassa, for sure… can’t remember for sure if I ever got the complete Tal Rasha and Natalya – and my achievement only shows one set… the IK set.
Moreover, those 5 sets identified in Sets Appeal are all “level 60” sets… ie, if you look at the items in the Game Guide, the “Required level” is 60 even though you can get them as a level 70 item; the other class sets are all level 70 – all the Crusader class sets are level 70 for example, since it did not exist before RoS. See Natalya’s Embrace vs Galvanized Vest for example.
I’m glad you did different sets than mine… it shows that it is indeed possible to still get the achievement without going through the creation of level 60 games. Hopefully, the OP will show us his Zunimassa ring and glove… and it may then be possible to have a better idea of what the issue is.
Cheers
Do you think the other sets are still in the game at all? For example, the wizard set in the achievement is called “Tal Rasha’s Wrappings”, whereas the set that is in the game now is called “Tal Rasha’s Elements”.
Same for Inna’s set. The Achievement calls for “Inna’s Magesty”, but this has been replaced with “Inna’s Mantra” set.
I am pretty sure I got a piece of the old Zunimassas set last season while I was leveling on my DH, so It might still be able to drop, but I can not be sure.
On the other hand, the achievement calls for “Natalya’s Wrath”, but the set is now called “Natalya’s Vengeance”, so I am guessing that it still counts the new set even if it is called by another name.
I’d be surprised if the legacy items still dropped… otherwise, they would show up in the Game Guide… the same way as those old Hellfire rings. The Diablo wiki site says the legacy sets disappeared when Patch 1.0.4 rolled in.
Yeah - the IK set was also renamed… it’s now Immortal King’s Call.
