For all of you wanting to play, but can’t log in because of the DDoS issues. What’s happening, is the DDoS’ers are targeting certain ISP’s that Blizzard routes through. Depending on your location, and which ISP’s are being targeted, one workaround is using a VPN.
I am currently using tunnel bear, and I was able to log in just fine once I turned it on. Tunnel bear is great because they give you 1.5 GB of free VPN data a month. However, I strongly advise against streaming youtube, twitch, etc while using the free data, as it will eat it up in no time.
So my advice to you if you’re wanting to play but can’t log in, simply go to tunnel bear’s website and download for free. Once installed, start the VPN, and be on your happy way grinding

Side note: You will notice slightly higher latency than usual, but its not bad. I’m hovering around 130ms right now, which is more than playable.
Tunnelbear gives 500mb free per month. And it’s fairly crap. Dropouts, DC’s, lagging.
I know because I tried it 3 days ago.
Share them through your twitter and they up it to 1.5 gig. Also, I have been playing the last couple hours with no issues. Not sure why you have had a negative experience.
I can login fine with my second account but my main account gets error 1016. I don’t get it. Only difference is the main account has an authenticator and the other one doesn’t.
I’m not sure what you’re saying is true… I have friends from USA, Canada, and Australia with the same issue. We all have different ISP’s, therefore it is not an ISP issue, but more of a blizzard server issue.
My solution was to play a board game with the wife and kidlets. I was going to watch Disney+ with the family, but that’s been a stuttering mess as well.
Of course, there is always games that don’t require an internet connection in order to play. DDoS means nothing if you don’t have to connect to a server to play.
Yeah, I gave up last night and just played some PoE. As much as I don’t like the new league, it’s better than being DC’d constantly.
