How more can I up my character stats.?

Hi everyone,

I have come to a state whereby most of my Gear are at Ancient and Augmented. How more can I improve on my Character. Getting new and better gear is one option but take a tons of resource and Luck… much of which I dont have … lol. I like to make do it with whatever i has now and hopefully a better one drop by. In the mean time I would appreciate if anyone can give some advise .

Thank you all very much.

Regards,

Well, that is most likely the state where you can get 1-2% upgrades at most.

Basically, speedfarming paragon for +5 mainstat, and the occasional upgrade is what you can now expect.

If you find that to boring I recommend trying another build/class.

You will not get a huge boost from your main stat after you have finished augmenting with plain rank 125 Whispers. You still have quite a few options to improve your power but none of them will be impactful as including more Area Damage (considering build can utilize it) or Elemental Skill Damage.

First of all, as mentioned before me, you can speed farm, aiming for short clear runs to rinse and repeat around GR117-120 tier or something higher. You should aim for lower than 3 minutes for most speed clears, and accumulate mad amount of paragon points before committing yourself for a big push again. Given that monster health doubles at every 4½ Greater Rift tiers, you should hit for 8-10 tier lower than your highest push to score around 3 minute clears for easily repeated runs.
In case you fail to do so, it could be from lack of proper affixes on your equipment or lacking mobility and utility. Be sure to stack Area Damage, Elemental Damage where ever it apply, and switch some skill runes to gain better mobility compared to your push build setup.

Also you can still gain more power by improving your legendary gem ranks by pushing up high to your limits, the benefits be very small but with right equipment can be impactful on your time. Before doing so, your priority must be speed farming to accumulate power and improve your gem ranks slowly.
Sadly, there’s no way to be sure if this or that amount of farming would be enough before you decide to push up high. This is one of the pitfalls and perhaps a flaw of this game, but you can control this by intuition and you’ll realize that your speedfarm time would go close to 1-2 minutes mark slowly which ensures that you’ll do just fine.

You may need to augment stuff again, so I highly suggest stacking some Petrified Screams and upgrading their rank from 125 whenever you start pushing beyond GR134 to augment your equipment all over again with upgraded ranks. In case you lack Area Damage%, Elemental Skill Damage% or Critical hit Damage% on a piece, prioritize it to augment a better counterpart on its slot and use upgraded Whispers when augmenting it. This last step would only give you slightly more damage, but will bump your toughness significantly to grant a longer frame of response in the thick of combat.

An important thing is also your choice of skills/runes and passives and then your playstyle… and choice of follower.

You quiver has socket. I would say it’s not optimal rolled. Ancient or primal doesn’t automatically mean good. Import your character with d3planner and share the link. Easier to check your gear and recommend upgrades. (I’m not at pc)

Ancient does not mean good. Most of your gear on your GoD DH has terrible rolls.

rolls you want for your gear:
Shoulders - dex, cdr, ad, vit/all res (you are missing cdr, ad, very important)
gloves - cc, cd, cdr, ad (you again are missing cdr and ad)
focus - socket, cc, cd, cdr/damage (you only have crit chance)
hat - cc, dex, socket with diamond, vit (you are missing vit using a amethyst, losing cdr)
chest - dex, vit, res all (armor and hatred regen are doing nothing for you on this piece)
belt - dex, vit, hungering arrow, res all/life % (again armor does nothing for you on this piece)
pants - dex, hungering arrow, vit/res all (finally got a keeper here)
boots - dex, vit, res all, armor (strafe doesn’t help much and neither does movement)
squirts- cc, cd, cold damage (all you have is cd)
bracers - cold damage, cc, dex, vit (you have fire damage, which is doing nothing for you)
restraint - socket, cd, cc, cdr/damage (you only have cd)
quiver - dex, as, cc, hungering arrow, cdr (hatred regen and socket do nothing for you here)

For me, I don’t use guardians. I would use wraps of clarity and Hunter’s wrath, so I could put COE and depth diggers in cube.

TBH, and I know this is going to sound harsh, but none of your GoD pieces are worth augmenting. You are missing a ton of damage from bad rolls. Missing cdr will keep your buffs up and rolls like armor instead of all res or vit on your chest are killing your toughness.

Your gear has massive room for improvement. I would speed farm GRs on the highest you can do in under 3 min. Use the shards and try to get better armor pieces. (Don’t waste shards on jewelry). Run Visions for mats and use those to upgrade rares or reforge your jewelry.

Now let’s look at your skills:
Your six main are probably fine for you now, but as you fix your build and get a ton more toughness, I would switch boar to wolf on the companion skill
I don’t know what passive you have on your ethereal, so this is general:
dump Sharpshooter (it is worthless) and use Awareness
dump Night Stalker (you don’t really need) and use Archery (50% more cd) or Thrill of the hunt

This is the most comprehensive advice i got so far and I appreciate it very much.
Being a causal player, just want to be able to slow and steadily improve my solo GR over time if it has to be. All is true about my gears (love your direct and honest opinion) I don’t wish to spend too much resource and time on one single character. My interest in D3 extend to achievement, Season Journey, pet, wings, collectibles, banners, including Junk, etc. Love the different play mode too - Campaign, Seasonal, Hard Core, Adventure, Challenge Rift.
It help keep me from being bore and burnout.

If for some lucky reason I get a nice gear, much better. If not so, be it. Lag is my biggest issue in this game. The honest reason I ask the question is to satisfies my knowledge that there is a way out should i choose to go for it. Taking into consideration the many advice from everyone I will try to improve on my gear. God is has mercy and drop me a few good pieces… lmao.

Thank you very much all… with love.
