I think 15k paragon is a safe estimation number to clear GR150?
Also, from what the PS4 hack found, paragon was capped at 20k paragon and I think 20k will be overkilled for clearing GR150.
Griftlevel cannot be tied to paragons that easy.
Lets argue, that a character has 15.000 mainstat from gear and enchants w/e.
5k paragon means he gets an extra 25.000 mainstat, having together: 40.000 mainstat.
10k paragon just simply means he gets 50.000 (+15.000 by gear), up to 65.000 mainstat.
65.000 mainstat versus 40.000 mainstat actually does “only” buff your damage by 1,625 times. You would need 2 times the damage you have, to clear +4-5 grift levels higher.
So, a guy with 5k paragon clearing 130 = a guy with 10k paragon clearing a 133.
defense, skill etc. aside.
Solo won’t be able to clear 150 sans something super broken like season 19 buff.
I doubt the top person could clear 150 even with say 30,000 Paragon. They would need about a 4x damage boost from what they have at 10k Paragon.
10k Paragon to 30k Paragon is only 2.52 damage increase. They would need about 50k total Paragon to mathematically be able to clear a 150 comparable
If you check the non-season leaderboard, 10k paragon players are clearing the GR around 140+. There is where I got the sample that 10k can clear GR140.
If you take blizzards numbers that Gr 130 and 5k is according to them a “clear” result for certain classes it is quite difficult to compare this numbers to live server rankings. The “Gr 130” numbers were made by blizzard to support their balance view. To some degree this numbers seems strange. Furthermore if you check the leaderboards some classes are doing 145-146 without problems with 10k paragon.
What Diavel wrote is absolutly correct. The more mainstat you already have the lower the % increase of it if you add more of it. The difference between paragon 800 and 5800 is huge in % damage. The difference between 5800 and 10800 is much smaller % increase and result in less greater rifts +.
S19 theme is too broken. Yet so many people cry foul saying it’s the best theme. Such easy gratification based on fake sense of achievement granted by external factor.

Every build and character class needs different paragon for do 150 solo
Non seasonal player got his 150 in 10 min with 10k of para (with crusader). So for cruse i guess 7k is enough for current patch.
Gr clears depends on damage multipliers, not on paragon. If devs give us huge multiplier, we could do 150 even with 2k
Bet you haven’t cleared a 150 yet, though. Let me guess, you dont want to because its not fun for you right ? rightttttt. As broken as the theme is, it’s still not as easy as you’re making it. Solo a 150 then talk.
Because I play for the fun, not for the competition? Yes you’re right. But one thing I know, winning something with my own strength is a much better and healthier gratification than having the power handed over to you to achieve that. It’s about true vs fake sense of achievement.
I do too, playing for the fun. But I’ll be more happy if the achievement comes from my own effort rather than “angels raining from the sky”.
I agree man, I know exactly what you mean, but the thing is you’re making it seem as if it’s just that easy. Even with the seasonal it’s quite a challenge… thats all, and if you were to attempt it you’d see that.
Because that kind of attitude of some players reminds me of an old story where you give a poor beggar living nearby a hamburger everyday, until he takes it for granted. Then when you have financial problem that you can’t give him regularly, he starts insulting and blaming you because somehow, he think it’s his right that he should get a hamburger from you everyday. Now I see some players behaving just like that.

You could, of course, play non-seasonal where there’s no-one giving you hamburgers.
The season 19 buff sucks. 95% of the playerbase gets nothing out of it and it only becomes relevant when you’re pushing really high GRs, then it’s broken
Top paragon is 20k. My old clan mate Mokorri is 20k currently and can no longer gain experience but he also can’t lose pools anymore. LOL
