For Diablo 3, Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromaner.

  1. How many character slot come with Diablo 3 and the 2 expansion?
  2. Whats the Maxmium number of character slot can a player own in each?

Maximum number of slots is 17 if you also get the Digital Deluxe upgrade.

  1. Base game - 10 hero slots
  2. Reaper of Souls - 2 hero slots
  3. Necromancer DLC - 2 hero slots
  4. Digital Deluxe upgrade - 3 hero slots

Maximum available - 17 hero slots

There is one problem with this. If you buy the Eternal Collection you will only get 14 slots. You still have to buy the Digital deluxe to get the 3 extra slots. Where than you will have 17 slots.

Plus they don’t sell that on the online store too. I had one account that didn’t have that. It cost me another $22 for it. If somebody can find it online good luck. The only way I got it was through support. They give me a link to it.

OK I did some more research on it. Looking at it from my support ticket. If you do not have the digital deluxe. You will need to go to the Reaper of Souls expansion itself to upgrade to the digital deluxe. It will tell you need to upgrade it. Just click on the Reaper of Soul on the online store.

I was looking at my support link to it and it has the Digital Deluxe on it. Hehe I will only purchase when its on sale again. I remember see it on sale sometime back when my freind return D3 back to me (at S$20.00 I think).

If you have everything other than the Digital Deluxe. When you click on the ROS it will take you another page. There it will look at your account. It only charge you for the Digital Deluxe that should be about $20. It will not charge you for the what $39.99.

Digital Deluxe never goes on sale. It is a $20 USD upgrade.
It also comes with a bunch of Transmogs.

I bought it on sale back in November 2018 for AUD$12.50 on my alt account (just spent 10min going through my finance spreadsheets to confirm the price and when the purchase was made… it’s usually not that cheap here… so wouldn’t have bought it unless it was discounted).

Not sure if it goes on sale any more but you use to be able to see it on both the website and the in game store where you can purchase ROS. I can’t remember which one showed the discounted price. I thought $12.50 was a damn good price for 3 more character slots to make stash tetris less painful.
