How does firebird set interact with hydras?

Hey guys I am hoping to clear up a few interactions with the firebird 6 set bonus and mammoth hydra. I want to note that I am aware firebird set is not good and that I am best off following the meta, however I enjoy pushing janky builds as far as I can get them, rather than pushing to the highest GR. So here it goes.

  1. Does the 6 set bonus (200% damage stacks) apply to my hydra’s damage? If it does do I need to recast hydra after the bonus is applied or will it apply to an existing hydra?

  2. Does the mammoth hydra flame river count as fire damage to contribute to ignite?

Firebird’s damage buff is global, so yes your hydras would be affected as well. As far as I’m aware, you shouldn’t need to recast hydras for them to gain the damage buff as it should in fact apply to existing hydras.

Yes Mammoth Hydra’s attack counts as fire damage that would contribute to igniting enemies.
