I’ve spent 10 hours looking for the Liquid Rainbow on Xbox series x and haven’t found it at all.
I found the mysterious chest a lot but no Liquid Rainbow dropped from it.
Easy.
The Staff of Herding has these requirements on Console:
- the plan, obviously, from Izual.
- the Black Mushroom found in Cathedral Level 1.
- Gibbering Gemstone dropped from Chiltara in Caverns of Frost.
- Wirt’s Bell sold by Squirt in the Act II’s home town (Caldeum?).
Leoric’s Shinbone can sometimes drop from the fireplace in his manor but this is a bug and does absolutely nothing.
The Liquid Rainbow is non-existent on Console, and thus, has no purpose and doesn’t need to be hunted/farmed. So if you spent any time on it, you wasted it.
