How do I put my current Diablo game on a new computer

I’m getting a new computer and I can’t seem to find any info on how to install Diablo on it with out having to purchase the game again? I have had Diablo on this computer since the game released.

Hi jesse:

  1. Install the BattleNet Desktop Application (the launcher) from here: Download Battle.net for Windows and Mac | Battle.net
  2. Launch the BattleNet Desktop App and logon to your BattleNet account
  3. Select the Diablo 3 tab
  4. Click the big blue Install button.

If you are on a metered connexion, you can actually copy-paste the Diablo 3 folder on your new computer… the install will check the files but won’t download them if they’re already there. The default path for Diablo 3 is : C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III

can I bring my characters from my old computer to my new one after I load Diablo onto my new computer?

@Dalt
All data is stored on server, nothing on your PC.
After you install/copy D3 on the new computer, you can continue.
