How do I get good weapons and armor?

At the level you are, season or non-season, upping the difficulty will be a challenge. You only get good gear by grinding and your non-season level isn’t there yet and your seasonal characters are under level 10. It takes hours and hours of grinding to get good gear and most of the time, you only get it when you’re level 70.

I’d advise doing the challenge rift to get the cache and open it on a seasonal character. That way you can have a running start at leveling. You can search YT for season start challenge rift bag as well as starter guides for this season and what to do with said Challenge Rift cache.
