You leave the game; who forces you to stay if you feel used? Casual random match-finding/making system has this kind of short comings always.
No. You can’t report them about anything for just playing the game. You can leave and create or find another match.
yeah but see what it is OP is mad because they arent doing what HE wants despite the fact he has an open game he expects them to adhere to some rule that doesnt exist
by his logic you came here for bounties your not supposed to do GRs seriously its an open game what did he expect to happen? doesnt want leechers this is an issue which they can easily fix by simply playing a private game or does he expect Blizzard to come up with a solution?
perhaps start suspending players for not “following the rules” since you joined a “bounty game” and not a GR one theyre breaking the rules quick slap them with the banhammer
One solution if Blizzard doesn’t fix is create a private game, open GR (waste of key), open game to pub bounties, then immediately start running bounties. Doing such will keep others from running GR and rifts. Some may just exit game once seeing GR portal though. Best solution is always to run with friends or clan members.
I agree and if you’re really want to be “heard” why don’t you make a new topic about it. Maybe they’ll hear you maybe they won’t, but at least you’ll see if anyone agrees with you or not…
Unfortunately based on all their previous actions and the fact that your suggestion makes perfect sense I doubt they’ll listen…
They’ll probably throw your idea to the rest of QoL changes that they ignore as always…

thats just it silver the OP doesnt want a fix he wants Blizzard to force others in public games to do only the type of game room he created IE if the room says bounties then nothing else is supposed to be done
no one is denying leechers are part of the game but the bottom line is public game is just that PUBLIC game its no different than a PUG in WoW BGs you make the option for any and all to join thats what you get players that are going to do their own thing

B: learn to live with the occasional leecher in public

You know there’s something called common sense, so basically if you want to go to a public restroom, you have 2 choices and if you’re a male you’re obviously not going to a “ladies” restroom.
Same goes to Public games. When you want to do bounties you choose Bounties from the list if Rifts then you choose Rifts and once you choose what you want than you SHOULD do exactly what you chose to do, unless you have such bad reading comprehension issues that you don’t understand what each “options” were for or you’re just an insert any “bad, curse, insulting line of words” here…

Do them solo or join a clan. Don’t count on randos for anything.
If you want to do GRs, you should join a public GRs group.
If you want to do Rifts, you should join a public Rifts group.
If you want to do Bounties, you should join a public Bounties group.
If you want to do a type of content that doesn’t match the group type you joined, you should leave and join a group for the type of content you want to do, not force people to put up with you wanting to do it in their group.
It’s not that hard.

Ummm, as far as I comprehend…the OP was in a bounty game and someone else opened a rift while he was doing bounties…but hey, I’ve been told on here before my comprehension sucks so dunno.

The OP joined a public Bounties game, i.e. a group for doing Bounties.
Some of the other players in the public Bounties group started doing Rifts / GRs.
It’s the others that were doing something other than the group is for, not the OP.

I already have opened a thread on disabling the obelisk in bounty rooms. If you like the idea. Please remake a new thread about it. I will support it (if I see it).
The more threads about it they see they may do something about it.

An open vault doesn’t prevent Grifts. It looks like the Grift can be enabled regardless of the existence of the open vault portal.
Yeah, I think you can have cow, vault, and a rift open at once.
I know that is why they should make it so you cannot open them until all of the bounties are finished. That way people who join a bounty must only run the bounties. After the bounties are finished you can do whatever you want.

You know that a goblin might open a vault or cow level for you when killed when you’re doing bounties right? Same with Rainbow goblins.
So instead of forbiding them to open, allow to enter a vault, cow level or Whimsydale only when ALL bounties are completed.
