I was rewarded 2 Horadric Caches in Act 1 with my Barbarian. I saw them in my inventory (surprised that I was awarded 2 of them) dropped the loot onto the ground, and my wife talked to me for a moment (less than 2 min - she confirmed this) and I turned back to the game and the loot is gone! After looking all over town for the loot, I finally exited the game and came back to the same act and still no loot. Did I run into a bug or a timeout feature I didn’t know about?

If you were standing close to your opened stash, and you right-click the horadric caches… they would move to your stash. Look in your stash ?
The game is giving double horadric caches when you complete the 5 bounties in season… a special bonus at this time.

Sorry - just edited my post… I had dropped the loot - so there must be a real short timeout to pick the stuff up cause my wife spoke to me in that split minute or two.
That sounds awfully short… especially for the legendary items and crafting material the cache would have contained… oh well, if it’s gone, it’s gone.
Exit the game & repeat the bounties, I suppose.
yup just did exactly that. Not worth crying over, especially when there’s a bonus cache. But that sure seemed awful short for a timeout. Oh well - it won’t happen again… (she’s apologizing profusely lol)
