Does anyone feel that long lag in the game today?

I got the message below in the game 3 times.
The game connection has been lost : your client has been disconnected from the server.

My game server region is America.
Which IP address is correct below for winMTR?
North America: 24.105.30.129, Brazil (Americas): 54.94.196.47 or both?

NA is the correct one unless you manually add an argument in the launcher settings.

In all your logs, there are some data packet loss and high latency at hop 1. e.g.

Usually, the first hop is your router/modem. But yours has a hostname, *.hinet.net. Then I’m not sure what it is.

We expect 0% data loss and close to 0 latency at the first hop.

You may try step #1 and #2 (and other steps) of this support article:

If the first hop is a device provided by your ISP, you may ask your ISP to troubleshoot it.

If you are using wireless connection, try testing with wired connection as a comparison.

(I am using wired connection to play Diablo 3.)
I have called my ISP.
My ISP told me to turn off the modem for 5 minutes and then turn on the modem again for 2 minutes. And they also checked some things for my internet connections. It should make my internet connections good.

Then I have tried to use the command “ipconfig” to release and renew my IP and flush my DNS. And I have upgraded my video card drivers to the new versions.

I am happy to play Diablo 3 now.
But I got the message below in the game again. :rofl:

That were same step #1 and #2 that I had mentioned:

The new log looks much better. Only thing I spot is the high latency at hop 1.
Try other steps, including the Advanced Troubleshooting section, in the support article.

Also, disable QoS settings in router and Windows network settings if they are enabled. Also read this blue post for more about QoS: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d3/t/high-ping-only-playing-diablo-3/14830/2

when is this going to get fixed? I’m tired of getting disconnected and the lagging. all of this can make people not want to play anymore.

Been getting it randomly lately.
It always happen at the start of a GR when the latency suddenly turns red. After lagging/dying around for a bit, disconnect happens and kicked to menu, unable to rejoin game.

I have had to leave so many GG Rat groups because of this. Have been very frustrating…

Same here, ping spikes and feels like I’m playing through water. Rapid Fire shooting in clustered bursts even though I’m holding down the cast key.

No matter what time of the day I’m playing, always lags nonstop.
