I have a bunch of legendary items in my stash. I have all the required mats to extract their legendary powers but when I go to cube them, they do not show as available to break down. I’ve tried switching to different classes but it’s still not working. For example, I have several Squirt’s Necklaces in my inventory and I’d like to extract that power but when I go to the cube they don’t show up as available. Any help would be great!
Are you hitting the ‘fill’ button at the bottom of the recipe window? And putting the item in the cube? Then hitting transmute?

Yep, I’ve been doing the same thing as always but now none of the items show up. Frustrated.
Are you clicking the windows at the bottom? The weapon, armor and jewelry slots?
Yes, I have been doing the same thing as always but recently none of the items I have stashed show up as available to cube. Flavor of Time, Squirt’s Necklace…all in my inventory but when I go to cube them it’s like they don’t exist.
What do you mean by ‘stash’? If it’s in your inventory, put it in the cube, fill the materials and hit transmute.
Looking at your profile, you have one character and do not have any Kanai’s Cube powers activated. I am going to guess you are sort of new!
Kanai’s cube lets you destroy an item and transfer the Legendary power to the cube. Once in the cube, you can select that power and have it available.
- Open the Cube
- From the menu at the bottom right select the recipe you want - read carefully.
- Put the item you want to destroy and transfer into the cube.
- Click FILL to fill the cube with the required materials.
- Click Transmute to destroy the item and transfer it to the cube.
To use a cube power, click the Armor, Weapon, or Jewelry categories at the bottom of the cube. That opens a window letting you pick one power per slot.
Some items can not be cubed because they have some odd powers that don’t work with it.

My guess is this is the step OP doesn’t understand. You need to manually put the item in the Cube (or right-click on PC).
And this point could be more clear… maybe “Transfer the item you want to destroy into the cube”?

I was just trying to get across the point that in order to transfer the power to the cube, the item has to be destroyed in the cube. I kind of feel like maybe that is the part they don’t get. Either that, or they don’t know to click the Armor, Weapon, and Jewelry slots to select the cubed powers.
For sure… My point was not criticism, but “optimization of service”…

i think you are a troll, or don’t read the comments.
Maybe Slumberpunch is putting the old pre-patch version of Squirt’s and or The Flavor of Time amulet in the Cube to try too extract the new Power, if that is so the Cube doesn’t recognize them as a item, so therefore they don’t exist.

This is almost certainly the case, as the only character on their account that is cube capable is the LV 70 non-seasonal Wizard, meaning that their inventory would most likely be from the previous patch. Given the very low paragon levels (132 at the time of this post), it’s a fair bet that the OP is unaware that legendary items do not get updated automatically after each patch, but that the player has to find new versions in order to use the updated powers and/or extract those powers via Kanai’s Cube.

Sorry all, this is on the Switch version…not PC. Apologies. Still having the issue but no worries.
As some people say, I think you are new to the game (or just to Kanai’s Cube), so here is a little “tutorial” on how to use it:
1- Open Kanai’s Cube
2- In the recipes window, select the one you want (in your case it is the first one, to extract the legendary power)
3.1- Click the button to fill the cube with the necessary items
3.2- If the recipe uses an item that is not always the same, you must have the item in your inventory and manually put it in the cube (in your case, put the equipment in the cube with all other items/material that were added in the last step)
4- Click the button to activate the cube (some recipes ask you if you really want to do it, in your case it will tell you that the equipment will be destroyed)
5- Done!
That’s basically how the cube works!
You mentioned that you are playing on Switch, and I am not 100% sure that the steps are exactly the same, but should work like that 
Also, some things to keep in mind:
- Always check if the item is in your inventory. If it is in the stash, it will not show up for you to put in the Cube.
- Some legendaries cannot be extracted, mostly because they don’t have a legendary power (like Skorn for example).
Also, not all legendary powers can be extracted. Hellfire Amulet powers, for example.
