Crafted 100 Hellfire amulets and not 1 ancient! is this even possible?

It is. Very unlucky but still very possible.
Obviously it is possible. Rarity is another thing entirely.
That is one of the altar sacrifices I am not looking forward to simply because it can be a real pain to get an ancient version; fortunately, unlike the last time I did that, this one does not have to be “good.”
0,003% chance, honestly check that you did not miss an ancient amongst all those.
There is a ton of rng involved with making a good ancient hf amulet.
I generally craft 10 at a time. Usually it takes 3-5 crafts to get 1 ancient. Per the chance that I do get more than 1, they are usually crap.
It’s usually the last thing I do after I have everything set up and I generally have better luck crafting a hf amulet for the Barbarian.
As others have said, you just need 1 ancient. Good chance it will be crap, so perfect for altar fodder.
He isn’t trying to get a good one, just any one.
He needs it for the Altar.
