Hell is to easy and gets booring

any purist knows this game isnt about the difficulty,I dont even need to explain to new players why this game lasted and lasts as long as it is.When you find yourself playing the game for 6 hours thinking only a half an hour went by you will understand

Of course. Content should be designed to be beaten.
It can still be challenging while beatable.
Only saying that it would remain at that difficulty, since you could not outlvl or outgear it.

Purists: “Casuals only want to change this game cuz they want everything EZ”

OP: “Let’s change it by making it harder with an increased difficulty”

Purists: “…go play a new game”

Nope!!!

:ok_hand::point_up::+1: Enough t/c!!!

How long do you think it will take until many many start :sob: :sob: :sob: “…can’t get past Act 3, need new and more powerful items…” or “…what is this stupid new difficulty without reward :sob:…” - power creep here it comes.
I’m pro re-playability, pro something that is more than just baalruns, but this is a Pandora’s Box.

i think in a few hours all of we can kill baal in hell, just be wake up on the items that drop on the floor

Let them cry?
If it is designed as an optional challenge mode, with no rewards, there is nothing to cry about.
Plenty of games work like this.
I mean, Diablo 2 itself works like this; with HC.

While it does happen sometimes, it is fairly rare to see people whine that they want more rewards in HC.
Nor has Blizzard, or any of the competitors that offer an HC mode, caved to it, afaik.

This kind of argumentation is purely fictional tbh. If we or the devs thought like this D2 could never have gone beyond first town in act 1, at lvl 1, with white items.
Due to “somebody will complain if we add a second lvl, another area, or blue items…”.

Not for HC, but Blizz caved for D3 in general.
Went from super hard at release, to a snooze fest now, which can
put you to sleep literally.
I hope they don’t cave, when many cry crocodile tears, when they are
stuck with D2R.
I don’t want the game to change, but if they threw in a harder mode
with nothing extra, guess it’s possible.
Actually, nah, bad idea, you give people an inch,
and then they want much more.
If this game opens to any big changes, it won’t end well.
