Oh my! I just DIED with my hardcore sader! I was level 70 p21 after two days and I want him back! Why can’t I have him back! I demand to have him back! It’s not fair!
No, just kidding. Hardcore is hardcore. It’s a risk you take, going into a nephalem rift and getting ganged up on and killed. People who complain about losing a HC character REALLY need to do two things:
Take it slower, more cautious, and reread the warning that death is final.
Oh, and a third thing. Wait a little bit before rage posting.

Sure, uless you get killed by DC or Lag. In these cases your char should be restored… Otherwise if you weren’t careful than yeah, nothing to complain about.
The DC/Lag is part of the last part of my post. Death is final. Period. Just because you don’t drink enough coffee and aren’t awake when you get hit by a bus…

Some times, taking it too slow is a bad thing.

Yup Lost my Barb yesterday due to the DDOS. Side note, new barb found a Primal Travellers. so I’m content for now. 
Always have a backup set and friends that can powerlevel you!
Golden rule of hardcore is: If you know you have lags, disconnects, bad pc that freeze sometimes don’t play hc.
I am getting one of this once a hour sometimes more sometimes less.
I wish i could play hc but i know i can’t - problem fixed
Considering there is a warning on the launcher about a suspected DDoS attack going on, playing HC would be the last thing I would probably risk right now, just saying.

The only warning on the EU English launcher splash screens is about an upcoming scheduled maintenance…

…the last mention of a DDoS on the EU Twitter feed was two days ago saying that it had been resolved…

I didn’t see anywhere in previous posts that talked about the Euro realm. Yes, I assumed, but at the same time, they posted on the US realm. So… Good that you guys have that resolved. We have this ugly red bar on the bottom of the launcher. Mind you, I have been playing the past 3 hours. No problems at all. But not playing HC either. Though I did rip though 200 Paragon in a little over an hour solo. Damn that Marauders is better than I remember. Been UE MS for while on DHers in general. Currently running an MS variant, till I get a few more pieces. Anyway.

Even when the issue was apparent for the EU servers there was no splash warning us about it on the launcher. The tweet was literally the only Blizzard communication for EU. The point I was making is that just because there’s a splash on your launcher don’t assume there is one for other regions and also just because there’s no splash don’t assume there’s no issue.
