Is the Ancient better than the one I am using now?
Worth Augmenting ?
I am going to lose attack speed for sure if I decide to use the ancient one.

If you want to use the ancient weapon (despite the missing 8% bonus) roll off the socket for 10% extra damage and use a Ramaladni on it for the socket.

Now is 17% AD vs 7% Attack Speed…

The non ancient have the 199% increased damage to cursed enemy compared to the ancient , which only have 191%

is the ancient really better?

Max base damage of an ancient sycthe is 1940. Your ancient has 1705.
If you roll 1705 to 1900+ you get approx 11-13% inc. dmg, which is better than rolling socket to 10% dmg.

199% vs 191% is just ~2.6% diff.

DO you mean reroll the Base stats of the Poison damage to higher?
and it is a better option to reroll the socket to +% damage?

Yes, current 1379-1705 is almost the lowest values.
Rolling to max 1940 (gives +13% dmg) will be too difficult and expensive. But 1900 shall not be too expensive; that will give you approx 11% more dmg than now.

Anyway, you’ll look for a better ancient than this.

rerolling it… will it change the Poison Damage to something else?

The Poison damage is already a great boost during COE timing… something I dont want to give up

The damage element of the weapon is irrelevant, the actual damage dealing element is defined by the skill and its rune.

The ancient one is a lot better because of legacy gem. Plus the area damage is good. Aug it at 100 and hope you get a better one

what is the final verdict on which stats to reroll?

  1. reroll Socket to 10% damage (cheaper reroll option, lesser damage)

  2. reroll the the poison base damage to higher base damage (Expensjve reroll option, more damage)
