Granted primal doesn't drop

Hi folks,

I doesn’t get the granted primal drop on GRift level 70.

So what can i do?

Did you do it in season, solo, and in time (before the 15 minutes ran out), and for the first time this season?

I had the same issue with my 2nd character of the season. Whatever Blizzard has done, this season is ULTRA buggy…poor testing on their part and once again the players suffer as Blizzard doesn’t even acknowledge these bugs, let alone fix them. Especially if you’re a console player.

The guaranteed primal is only one time, for your first hero to clear GR70. You won’t get a guaranteed one on a 2nd hero.

Has NEVER worked this way before in any prior season for me. Every new character, upon clearing GR70 got a primal drop. It was never account bound, but character bound.

100% has, at least for me. I’m on PS4 console, so perhaps it is different on that platform? And has now been patched to match the PC version of the game?

been playing every season since primals were introduced. That’s how it has always worked on at least the PS4.

either way, was replying to the OP. I also own the game on both PC and console, so can post in both sections. Perhaps Blizzard should removing PC players posting rights from the console sub forums? Oh wait, Blizzard only discriminates against console players.

As others said. Guaranteed primal drop is for the first solo GR 70 clear per season per game mode (i.e. first GR70 clear on HC, and for first GR70 clear on SC). Of course you may be lucky to get a primal on your first GR70 clear on a second character - but it’s just RNG being generous, it’s not guaranteed.

Season Journey is shared between SC and HC. If you achieve Primal Soul-O in one mode, you do not get it again in the other.

Although one doesn’t get the achievement twice, one does (or did, until Season 27) receive a Primal upon completion of the first Tier 70+ Greater Rift in both Seasonal SC and HC.

I haven’t tried it in Season 28 yet…

I got my first primal in HC yesterday upon completing a solo 70 after I finished Guardian on SC.

I did it with my first char during the season and i have no other char.
I need with my char round about 4 min for the solo 70er Grift.
