Been playing a few hours now and it seems this bug is still there. Using force stand still and shooting empty space or on mobs and regular don’t get stacks after like 3 or 4 shots.
Were you using Calamity?
easy fix and have been using it all this season. move hungering arrow to 1234 and no more need for force standstill and arrow works everytime. if you want to still left click it and force standstill, then when aiming into empty space aim farther away. half the screen works well.

I use the space bar for the Momentum. Hit ESC then click onto option then Key Bindings. In there next the shift key add the space bar to the right. Then you can use it any time even when you are running it will build back you momentum. Just hold it down with your thumb.
Here is another tip make a hellfire amulet. Make it with the night stalker passive skill. It really helps with hatred. Or if you can’t get one like that, just use one of the other passive skills you use. Then add night stalker to your passive skills.

I always have been using the space bar for force stand still. I fail to get momentum stacks when shooting. Hated is not really a problem, but thanks for the suggestion.
