Been playing Diablo 3 since launch with no issues, but since 4 days ago I’ve been getting constant crashes (every 30 minutes or so) while playing. The game just shuts down and I get a grey box that says “the application has encountered an unexpected error” with an error message that apparently doesn’t mean anything, because Blizzard support can’t tell me the reason for the crash. I’ve done all the support crap: closed other programs, repair, complete reinstall, driver update, all of it. Anyone else having this issue? The only thing I can think of that’s possibly correlated is that I installed another game, Palia, at about the time when this all started. Playing on Windows, 4080 graphics card.

So I think I have this figured out, a few days after I got an NVIDIA update which glitched out but I think I managed to get installed. Haven’t had an issue since.
Mine stays up for about 30 seconds. Completely unplayable.
