Me and a friend of mine have recently come across a bug. We’ve been doing greater rifts up into the 80s. We have tried leveling up some gems repeatedly at a 60% chance and all 5 chances have failed. We’ve tried it more than 3 times on the same gem and it still hasn’t even gotten leveled up. Something needs to change.
Not a bug. Also, this forum is for PC. Consoles have their own bug report forum.
Chance that upgrade succeeds = 60% = 0.6
Chance that upgrade fails = 40% = 0.4
Chance that in X attempts, no attempts are successful = (0.4)^X
Chance that in 5 attempts, no attempts are successful = (0.4)^5 = 0.01024
So, approximately 1% of people will have exactly that result.
Unlucky, yes.
Bugged, no.
