Hello,
Three days ago, I purchased D3 for me and my wife. Both of our accounts and games state that we have starter edition, but the payments were made and initially we were instructed to wait up to 72 hours for the full game to unlock so to speak. I have tried reaching out to customer support and lets just say that I have better luck having jesus come down and fix the problem for me. Anyone have any clue on how to fix this or do I just request a refund?
Make sure you are using the correct account, if you have more than one Blizzard account. You should be able to check your account and see if D3 is active. Then you can try changing your password, which forces an account update.
It sounds like you made the purchase through the Blizzard Store, but you didn’t specifically state that. If you purchased digital copies through the Blizzard Store your License Codes are registered automatically. It only takes up to 72 hours because Blizzard has to receive the money from your financial institution. So, it depends on how quickly your bank transfers the funds. Also, it appears that you placed your order just as the weekend started, which means you may have to wait until your bank opens today to process the transaction.
Tip: For future reference, add the amount of a product to your Blizzard Store Balance. Check your Blizzard Balance to see when the funds have been posted. You can also log in to your bank account to see if they have posted a payment to Blizzard. Then, when you purchase your game(s) or product(s) you will receive it immediately. (Unless it’s a physical product that must be shipped).
If you made your purchase for physical copies of D3, you’ll have to manually register your License Codes. The Codes are found on the game CD sleeves. You can enter the Codes from the Blizzard App (the game Launcher). (See image below). Make sure both, you and your wife, redeem your Codes separately while logged in to your individual Accounts.
Oh… and welcome to New Tristram!
Good luck, have fun and good hunting!
