Game says I have to Patch but there is NO Patch?!?!

Trying to play my Non Seasonal Character and got booted saying there is a “Patch” but it does not patch anything and says I am Up To Date… but now I can’t start my game BECAUSE it KEEPS saying “THERE IS A PATCH AND HAS TO CLOSE TO APPLY IT!” and then does NOTHING but make me LOG-IN for NOTHING TO HAPPEN!!!

Get my Frustration here???

FIX your Junk BLIZZARD!!! At least let us just play our Non-Seasonal characters while you try to figure out why you Dumped our Seasonal Characters 2+ days Early before the next one even starts … It’s so much Fun when you guys Kill your Own games and makes me Question Why I keep giving you Money for Irritating Me! This is NOT FUN!

Same here. Did a scan and it says i am up to date and GTG. then when i start it boots me saying it will install for me. very kind of it. so here i am, can’t play a game i have limited time to play anyway. guess it wasn’t meant to be! lol

They have succeeded at the patch required infinite loop.

Same problem here. It is frustrating for sure, haven’t played all week then this pops up when I DO try. Guess this is how they kill the game, they just leave you waiting for a non-existent patch.

Blizzard is patching the patch on their server and usually it will be ready in about 30mins or longer and it all depend on how big is the patch.

Try again, after it kicked me out this time it finally started a patch update.

I just tested the patch for EN for NS as I had 1 remaining petrified scream from S26 and it is working fine.

Bonjour excusez moi du hs ,mais je ne trouve pas comment créer une discussion. Jai achete diablo 3 il y a 10 jours, jai donc fait la saison 26, je me suis arrete a paragon 593 en une semaine. La saison terminée, je me retrouve avec mon coffre vide, je nai plis aucuns legendaires ni mes sets de l ombre par exemple. Par contre jai gardé tout l or, tout mes objets sur mon perso, toutes les gemmes etc, manque juste le contenu du coffre qui etait en ville. Quand je lis ca parle de lettre , mais rien du tout dans la boite ou meme ailleurs. Je joue sur switch. Merci d avance ,ca le fait aussi sur la partie de ma fille.

Puisque tu joues sur une Switch, tu devrais utiliser la catégorie « Console ».

Pour créer un nouveau sujet, il faut utiliser le gros bouton bleu au haut du forum (+ New Topic sur les forums anglophones).

La saison 26 s’est terminée dimanche le 21 août; je ne sais pas comment le tout se passe sur une console mais, sur un PC, le contenu du coffre est envoyé par courier en jeu aux personnages hors-saison. Sur la Switch, j’imagine que c’est semblable… vérifie si tu as du courier.

Il y a un vieux blog qui explique en détails ce qui se passe en fin de saison… il traite surtout des PC… j’imagine que c’est semblable pour les consoles:

What version of the game are you running ? Look under the Play button on the launcher. The current version is 2.7.4.84161

If you are still running 2.7.3.xxxxx, you should try the troubleshooting listed in this Support note:

including Advanced Troubleshooting; the words in blue are links to additional information or procedures that may be useful.

If you have already done all that or if the error is still there… please start a new topic; atm, you seem to be the only one still having this issue and I think your post needs to “stand out” a bit more if you want Blizzard to pick it up. In the new post, please include all the troubleshooting you have already attempted.

I had this happen too. It fixed itself when I logged out, closed the BNET app, then did a soft reboot of the PC.

I tried just closing and restarting the app but it didn’t fix it. Only the reboot did.
