Greater Rift Drop Rate?

Hey All, Question regarding greater rifts. I know that the loot volume caps at 12 pieces at GR90. What do you gain by going higher than GR90 that outside of experience? Better odds to get ancient or primal gear? I’m just curious if anyone knows for sure.
