Game features and textures not showing

So, after taking some time away from D3 I got back on. The game needed an update. After the update, everything looks weird. Characters have little detail. No face. Pets are the same. Banner is basically a big blur. When you enter a game, the textures look really weird in town. Health and Mana globes show empty (even though they are full)

I have tried completely removing and reinstalling the game. After that didn’t work, I ran the Battle.net repair feature. It found no files that needed repaired. I also looked through the video display setting and nothing looks wrong.

Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? Not sure what else to do.

Your d3prefs file may be corrupted. it can be found under Documents/Diablo III. You can just delete it, and the game will create a new one. Other than that, I would suggest updating your graphics drivers, or posting in the technical support forum.
