The game has crashed to desktop about 10 times this season. The main/active Diablo 3 process disappears and the passive one stays, in the same section is ATI Catalyst/Center and other background programs. While on the desktop, you can still hear all the sounds and you can run a second copy of diablo 3. Once it goes to the desktop, it cannot be restored in any way. So many years of the game and nothing like this has ever happened. wtf?
This sounds like a technical issue. If you would like (Blizzard’s) help with this, you should move this thread to the Technical Support Forum.
Moving Threads
- Click the pencil icon next to the title of your thread.
- Click the “Category” field to bring up a list of Forums.
- Find the proper Forum and select it.
- Save your edit.
This will move your thread to the selected Forum, including all replies.
