Splash screen shows, screen goes gray for about 3 seconds, then game crashes.

This is happening to me as well.

You will need to post the code you get RE4LiTY. There are several causes for this and your computer will generate a unique code just for you. That code is sent to Blizzard.

When a TS agent gets in they can review the records related to the code and assist you. You can also send in a ticket directly to Support via the support menu at the top right of the website.

The behavior itself seems like it’s caused by Razer Chroma. If Razer is on the system, please try the following:

  1. Go to the Documents folder.
  2. Select the Diablo III folder.
  3. Open the D3prefs.txt file using Notepad.
  4. Add or Edit the following line. The value should be 1, like so:
    DisableChromaEffects “1”
  5. Save the file and try Diablo III again.

If it continues or Razer Synapse is not on the system, the crashes for both of you are fairly similar, let’s try the following:
