Gain Immunity to Crowd Controlling Effects?

Isn’t Wormhole considered in the Crowd Controlling Effects category? Or it just a damaging Elite affix?

I just unlocked the immunity Seal, and the first thing that happens is I get Wormholed across the map…

True. I’ve experienced wormhole or vortex effects a few times today. (Running Tal Rasha and with full Altar unlocked). Suddenly being jagged from one position to another.

It is not a movement impairment but a forced move. So, no, no immunity.

These effects fall under the CC category (like noted on maxroll). Classes that have CC immunity skills up don’t get wormholed or vortexed.

Quote from Icy-Veins:

  • S: “Gain immunity to crowd-controlling effects.” — Very straightforward, this bonus will disable the effects of stuns, slows, and displacement of any kind on your character. This bonus is incredibly useful for classes without easily accessible CC immunity skills, such as Witch Doctors and Wizards.

Yeah there’s a couple of problems with implementation. Passability is another one where a Strafing Demon Hunter or a character that is running via some skill such as Steed Charge, Spirit Walk, Tempest Rush, Sprint, or Charge (I think that’s the Barbarian one) will not be able to pass through a wall placed by a Waller elite. You have to walk.

Yes they do. Nothing blocks Wormhole except moving out of it.

CC immunity does block Vortex though.

Don’t some trash backs still fear too?

Thx for answer. Maxroll and Icy Veins are not correct then it seems.
