Last night playing d3, my Witch Doctor 750 paragon 74 level GR, finished a solo run but could not collect my (5) gem Empowered no death upgrades because a frog kept killing me each time I opened the gem lady’s interface. It killed me 5 or 6 times, then I ran and it chased me. Then I ran out of the dungeon into the previous one and it don’t not go thru the portal. But when I returned, it was there waiting for me. I went back to the gem lady and tried again, it killed me. I didn’t even have enough time to scroll thru the gems and pick. I noticed though I apparently suffered no real damage as my character’s armor never even went yellow. I have screen shots if you want to see, message me at my d3 hotmail the Blizzard yahoo address. Sounds to be the immortal enemy bug where it both spawned and died on the same frame.
A method to ‘lure’ it away is to lead it away, from Urshi (and the entrance), die (since this is SC mode), then rez back up at the town and run back thru the main portal to urshi. Since you lured it away you should be able to upgrade in peace
