So I dinged a 70 demon hunter a couple days ago and began the process of grabbing the 6 piece set. But after grabbing the 4 piece set and playing with I quickly found that I was getting major motion sickness so there is no way I can play this set. What is the easiest way to farm a different set without using the season set to push higher torment levels.
Problem is that farming is fastest when you have the bonus of a full set (without going into set combinations and legacy of dream builds) so that you can run at T10, 13 or 16.
One tip though is to use the cube recipe that can convert set items once you have duplicates.

If visual effects are hurting you, have you tried changing some of the settings to reduce FX?
Personally, when farming on GoD, I don’t look at the screen that much when playing GoD - I tend to navigate via the minimap and keep a sound out for elite/goblin kills to pick up DBs.
If you’re looking for fast fast gear then joining a clan or community and finding others to play with is a good idea.

I ended up getting that gem that increases damage for each legendary you have equipped while not having a set bonus. Was able to farm up the The set I wanted using that.
