I been playing this game called Star Traders Frontiers. Its a really great game. Make Captain, hire crew… there is about 20 different jobs for you and your crew. You go about meeting contacts who offer missions, gear, mercenaries, pardons (to get rid of negative reputation). You spy, blockade, patrol or explore planets to find loot that you can sell for money to buy better ship components. Really great game. I highly recommend.
Anyway, the developers launched a kickstarter for a new game called Cyber Knights. Its going to be a great RPG just like star traders but a tactical style combat like XCOM instead of the turn based combat of star traders. Check it out.
