[For CMs] Number of "spam or offensive flags"

Hi PezRadar, FilthieRich, Hooley,

I want to know the number of “spam or offensive flags” on my account.

GM Layhcrume from customer support send me here:
Thank you kindly for your reply and your seekiing to gain lvl 3 on the foruims, I am afraid this is information that we in the GM teem do not have access to, regrettably we cannot answerr your question.

You could try asking directly the forum community managers

Does it matter? It’s not something you can control regardless, so I don’t really see how that information is helpful.

why are you gatekeeping? he cares so that is enough.

As far as I know, the number of flags doesn’t matter. The only thing that will automatically make you incapable of reaching Trust Level 3 is your forum privileges being actioned. If you’ve been silenced or given a timeout at any point in your history on the forums, then you will never be able to achieve Trust Level 3, no matter how long it’s been since you were silenced.

Lol yep, and it’s funny to see forum nolifer tryhards desperate for TL3 always trying to skirt around the forum rules by using as flowery-as-possible language when harassing other people, and then cry foul and lament their permanent TL3 loss when mods take action against them.

If those flags are undeserved CM team must have been already removed them. Level 3 has more than one criteria such as likes and whatnot.

I asked a question, same as you, so why are you gatekeeping me?

they also tend to pretend they “never wanted it anyway” and “wouldnt accept mvp/mod if offered”. pure copium.

This is not correct.

Indeed. For example I’ve been forum silenced twice. After the first silence (3 day silence) I actually regained my TL3 status eventually.

I recently had a 1 day silence (for an absolutely nonsense reason but whatever) and I’m still at TL2 but I think it might eventually bump back to TL3 again. Just need to be patient. It happened before, it can happen again.

It’s kind a dumb situation though. I’ve been silenced many times do to group reporting by people who simply disagree with what I was saying, and they have all but one instance, been totally reversed after a competent human saw through the obvious BS abuses. I have no interest in a forum privilege upgrade anyway but if I did, that would kind of suck.

I still believe that for users who write relevant class guides should get permanent TL3 status, until they do something that warrants a removal of said status.

Lol no such thing on this moderation team…

they must have listen too you, they did a pretty large forum sweep this morning.

pretty humorous tbqh. i had a post from literally 7 days ago removed this morning. post was on the 7th page already. makes you wonder if someone is abusing the system and trying to flag every post on my activity feed and got a weird hit on a post that was 7 days old. lol rent free i guess.

They changed that so you can eventually learn TL3 back, but the time frame on it is pretty long. I don’t know exactly how long though. It no longer is “forever” though.

While the CM team can moderate, that is not normally their role. The Forum Mods handle responding to flagged posts and removing the flags. I just had one unflagged over on WoW.

Please remember that making threads to call out directly to Blizzard, Blues, or individual CMs is not allowed on the forums and may be removed by mods.

Providing you a list of all the account actions is not a service Blizzard usually provides. I am sure I get reported all the time for various reasons, I can’t ask them for a list of all the reports even as an MVP.

Players should be able to see the current number of flags they have on their accounts at any time or request it via support. Blizzard can’t deny anyone such information. If you don’t believe me I suggest you to consult with a lawyer to explain you why this is so in details.

So, I am waiting for either one of the 3 CMs here or the support to provide me with the requested information.

Blizzard has no service to provide the history of account actions and flags. Any actual action taken against your account has already been provided to you via the email attached to the Bnet account. You were also given a means to appeal that action.

You are free to consult your lawyer if you wish. Have your lawyer contact their legal department. I think these days it requires a letter. Legal – Blizzard Entertainment

I want a simple number, not a history. Just as we have numbers for posts, likes, there is number of flags. I want to know that number. That’s it.

Atm I am also appealing the last flagged post I have which btw was as a reply to you a month ago and didn’t contain any harassment. I bet you don’t remember that since it didn’t contain anything offensive against you (or anyone else). The thread the post was in got deleted. I may re-post what I wrote you so we discuss whether it’s offensive if you want.

I’ll take the request one step further and have the ability to see the number of people who have “foe’d” you (put you on Ignore/Mute.) It would be a badge of honor or a feat of strength to get 100.

im the KING of being falsely flagged. :crown:
i could probably count 500 instances of restored posts.
